Farming at the market

Thursday the kids and I took our first adventure into a/the farmer's market.  We usually have no need this time of year, but we are I am direly missing the abundance of zucchini.  It was almost painful to pay for it, even as cheap as it was, and apparently it shows our social status to this point:  we have none, thus no zucchini :) 
Anyway, we enjoyed it.  It was nice to see all of the booths and buy the produce that way.

I was excited to come home and have a meal of fresh fruit and veggies when we got home.  The kids weren't impressed.

We also managed to keep the kitchen clean long enough to take a few pics.
