Bright and shiny and new...

at least it was to us.  Well, kind of.  A new environment anyway, but plenty of signs that the house is old.  There are those things that being old gives a house that can't be replicated though, and they are lovely.  I love the colors, the trim, and the fact that it has a usable attic - it makes a great play room (both for me and the kids).  Don't you just adore its charm?

And as if that weren't enough, these came with it too

Okay, so not the best pic, or even the best I had, but it showed the twin fawns the best.  We love watching them, along with the other deer, out of our window, along with the rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, birds (the cardinals are my fav, and there is a nice hawk too), some creature that we don't recognize, and a gray and white kitty that Emmalee loves to watch.  Doesn't it make you want to come visit?
