...on a fresh fall day are dreamy. The leaves are beautiful today. And it was warm enough we could still wear the summer clothes we still haven't put away. (Which is good, because we don't have winter ones out yet except for the PJ's we wore all week while it was raining.) Oh yeah, and Gracie didn't get to wear her summer clothes because after I dressed her her dad went to get her to put her in the car and she was naked. And had thrown her clothes over the baby gate and he couldn't find them. So she got to wear her pj's to the picnic.
Church went well - Tyson and I were sustained in our new callings, and I taught Gospel Doctrine for the first time. Don't remember much of what was taught, but the lesson was a good one - sparks were going off in my head as I was preparing it. Can a person ever get enough of Temples and Family History? And did you know that there are 158 temples that have been built or announced, including Kirtland and the original Nauvoo, and the 5 that were announced last weekend? Well now you do. By the way, get your new Ensign out (the new Temple edition) and read it, cover to cover. And then read it again. And then put it where you can see it. And then think about one thing you learned from it and write it down. And then think of something you'd like to do in the very near future which has to do with temples and/or family history and work on it now. Then make a list of priorities and put it on the top of the list - (I mean it! Write this list down, it will help to straighten them out in your mind) - right after getting your teeth brushed and saying your prayers. Or maybe even before.
